Sitting out on the start line, it is of pivotal importance that once the light turns green our car... moves. Our tractive system team works hard to ensure that this happens, working tirelessly on getting our emDrive motor controllers working with our new DHX motors, as well as tuning them for maximum performance on the track. Being such a central part of the car, the tractive system team collaborates closely with other sub teams to ensure that the motor speed can be controlled over CAN by the pedals, the motor telemetry is visible on the dashboard, and the steering can influence the torque distribution of our 4-motor drive train.
