The steering team designs, manufactures, and assembles the steering system - everything between the driver's hands and the road. Precise, high quality manufacturing, along with a careful design, is required to ensure that the system provides high performance and excellent feedback to the driver. The steering team must work closely with other teams like drivetrain and chassis to make sure everything fits into place correctly. Working with everything from basic hand tools to CNC machines, the steering team uses a diverse set of manufacturing methods to bring the design to life.
